About the Role

Slum2School Africa is a leading volunteer-driven developmental organization founded in 2012 with a visionary mission to transform society by empowering disadvantaged and vulnerable children in slums and indigent communities to realize their full potential. We combat severe educational shortcomings across Africa by providing educational scholarships, creating innovative learning spaces, and offering essential psychosocial support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Executive Director’s calendar, complex travel plans, and meeting logistics with precision.
  • Screen and prioritize incoming communications, drafting high-level correspondence, presentations, and reports.
  • Organize and maintain both digital and physical filing systems while tracking crucial project deadlines and deliverables.
  • Liaise professionally with key partners, board members, donors, volunteers, and internal teams.
  • Conduct research, analyze data, and monitor special projects to aid executive decision-making and strategic growth.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in an executive support role, preferably within the non-profit or social development sector.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Zoom, and modern project management tools.
  • High level of emotional intelligence, absolute discretion, and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
