About the Role
Heritage Energy Operational Services Limited, operator of the flagship OML 30 asset in the Niger Delta, is looking for a dedicated Senior Production Technologist to join our dynamic Production Engineering team. In this operational role, you will collaborate with industry specialists to implement innovative solutions, manage well and reservoir potentials, and ensure strict adherence to well integrity standards across our land and swamp operations.
Key Responsibilities- Integrate asset knowledge into Well, Reservoir and Facility Management (WRFM) activities and surveillance plans.
- Lead well performance modelling, sand control design, upper completion design, and smart well configurations.
- Support intervention programmes including wireline, coiled tubing, workover, and abandonment operations.
- Establish well operating envelopes, monitor well integrity issues, and secure necessary corporate dispensations.
- Identify short-term oil opportunities, near-wellbore damage stimulations, and water or gas shut-off candidates.
- Generate well and artificial lift system models to compare actual versus predicted performance.
- Mentor and support junior production technologists to foster professional growth within the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- 12 to 15 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 12 years dedicated Production Technology experience in an upstream oil and gas operating company.
- Comprehensive expertise in well modeling, production system optimization, sand control, and well integrity management.
- Strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) considerations in well management and completion operations.
