About the Role
Desicon Engineering Limited, an indigenous industry leader with over 40 years of excellence in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Senior Process Engineer to join our growing team in Nigeria. Key Responsibilities- Lead basic and detailed design engineering activities for petrochemical plants, oil and gas facilities, and offshore drilling rigs in compliance with company procedures.
- Perform process simulations, design calculations, process optimization, and the sizing and selection of equipment for both tenders and active projects.
- Prepare, review, and issue critical process deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, equipment datasheets, cause and effect diagrams, and control philosophies.
- Conduct HAZOP studies and participate in the preparation of operation and maintenance manuals.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers, fostering technical growth, skill development, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Manage activity planning, work scheduling, resource allocation, and progress reporting to ensure timely project delivery.
- Prepare RFQs, evaluate vendor quotations, conduct technical bid evaluations, and review vendor documentation.
- Interface effectively with multidisciplinary teams, client representatives, and internal departments.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant process engineering experience within the oil and gas or petrochemical EPC industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in process simulation software, P&ID development, and equipment sizing.
- Strong knowledge of international codes, standards, and safety procedures.
