About the Role
ZEZ Nigeria Limited is a leading technical support services provider in the Nigerian oil and gas industry, offering customized procurement, installation, and maintenance solutions. Headquartered in Lagos with operational hubs in Port Harcourt and Warri, we partner with top Original Equipment Manufacturers to deliver end-to-end operational excellence. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Executive to strengthen our supply chain operations and support our growing project demands.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, request for quotations (RFQs), technical evaluations, commercial negotiations, and purchase orders.
- Source specialized materials, industrial equipment, and technical services in strict alignment with project specifications, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
- Develop, cultivate, and manage strong strategic relationships with key suppliers, global vendors, and local contractors.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance regarding quality, cost efficiency, delivery schedules, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify highly competitive suppliers, emerging market trends, and innovative cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure all procurement operations strictly comply with internal company policies, Nigerian oil and gas industry standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed procurement reports, comprehensive spend analyses, and maintain accurate documentation of all transactions.
- Collaborate closely with project management, technical divisions, and Business Development teams to support seamless project execution and competitive bids.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development support to junior procurement team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, and vendor management.
- Demonstrated working experience within the Energy, Oil and Gas, or heavy technical support industries is strongly preferred.
- Robust knowledge of global sourcing methodologies, supplier relationship management, complex commercial negotiations, and supply chain processes.
- Exceptional analytical, written communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities, work under pressure, and consistently meet strict deadlines.
- Professional procurement certification such as CIPS is an added advantage.
