About the Role
WTS Energy is the leading consultant and manpower supply company to the international oil, gas, and energy industry, operating globally across 16 countries. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Process Engineer to join our operations in Nigeria. In this role, you will provide critical process engineering expertise and technical assurance throughout the entire project lifecycle—from conceptual design and FEED to detailed design, construction, installation, and commissioning—ensuring optimal technical integrity and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality process engineering inputs and function as a Subject Matter Expert in process modelling.
- Support the Project in meeting Asset Integrity Process Safety Management (AIPSM) requirements.
- Interpret and apply international design standards, participating in technical reviews and Management of Change processes.
- Contribute to successful project delivery on schedule and within budget through efficient design practices.
- Coach trainee engineers and collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams and equipment vendors.
- Participate actively in critical multi-discipline reviews, including HAZOP, HAZID, SIL classification, and constructability studies.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering.
- Active NSE and COREN membership.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience within the oil and gas industry, with exposure to offshore platforms, FPSOs, or onshore terminals.
- Proficiency in simulation tools such as UNISIM, IPSM-GAP, and PIPESIM.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for a multi-ethnic, multi-disciplinary environment.
