About the Role
Marquise Energy Limited is seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Well QA/QC Officer / Materialsman to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will ensure the highest standards of quality control and material integrity across our end-to-end engineering and EPC operations, driving project success and safety excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Prevent equipment defects and verify exact manufacturer product specifications across all well operations tools, tubulars, and fittings.
- Conduct rigorous QA/QC audits on third-party service equipment prior to mobilization.
- Collaborate with petroleum, production, logistics, and warehouse teams to track material specifications, well performance, and optimize well designs.
- Formulate and enforce strict Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), track material certifications, and manage document control protocols to mitigate downhole tool failures.
- Ensure well completion, re-completion, workover, and abandonment programs comply strictly with company EHS policies and industry regulations.
- Coordinate and verify the availability of surface and downhole equipment in advance of work programs to meet operational objectives.
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Metallurgical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline; an M.Sc is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience spanning office-based engineering and active field supervisory positions in complex, high-risk drilling environments.
- Comprehensive knowledge of API, ISO, and ASME standards, alongside proficiency in NDT methodologies and inventory software.
- Valid BOSIET certification and IWCF or IADC Well Cap Level 4 certification.
