Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of comprehensive process design packages, including Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Conduct rigorous hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing, and safety analyses such as HAZOP and SIL reviews.
- Collaborate seamlessly with mechanical, electrical, and marine engineering teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Provide expert technical support during the fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases of projects.
- Ensure all engineering designs strictly comply with relevant industry codes, environmental regulations, and company quality standards.
- Mentor junior and mid-level process engineers, fostering technical growth and adherence to best practices within the department.
- Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of demonstrable experience in process design within the Nigerian oil, gas, or petrochemical industry.
- Proficiency in industry-standard process simulation software such as HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or PRO/II.
- In-depth knowledge of international design codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks (API, ASME, ISO).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with excellent communication abilities.
- Professional engineering certification (e.g., COREN, NSE) is strongly preferred.
