We are currently looking for a dynamic Senior PR Specialist to support our strategic public relations, media relations, thought leadership, and reputation management initiatives in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Develop compelling PR narratives and story angles around products, partnerships, CSR, and corporate reputation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Nigerian journalists, media organizations, and industry influencers.
- Support thought leadership opportunities, drafting opinion articles, speeches, talking points, and executive briefing materials.
- Monitor industry developments, cultural trends, and breaking news to proactively identify PR opportunities.
- Track media coverage, sentiment, and share of voice, preparing detailed weekly and monthly reports.
- Monitor potential reputational risks and support the development of crisis communication materials and media responses.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in PR, corporate communications, or journalism within Nigeria.
- Strong existing relationships with Nigerian journalists and media organizations.
- Demonstrated experience in fintech, technology, financial services, or telecommunications is a strong advantage.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
