About the Role

As a Senior Planner, you will own the development of feasible, executable refinery production plans that translate economic optimization into operational reality while protecting margin, process integrity, and schedule stability.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will act as the primary planning authority toward Operations and Scheduling, leading the formulation of monthly production plans, rolling schedules, and weekly operating targets.
- Develop monthly, rolling, and weekly production plans balancing unit constraints and inventory limitations.
- Own the planning risk register, mitigation actions, and economic-operational bridging for feedstock allocation and blending strategies.
- Challenge linear programming outputs when operationally infeasible and support scenario planning for shutdowns and rate changes.
- Lead planning coordination meetings and mentor junior planners to ensure cross-functional alignment.
We are looking for driven professionals with a strong technical background and extensive industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Master’s degree, MBA, or relevant professional certification such as CFA or PMP is advantageous.
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of proven experience in production planning and scheduling within petroleum, petrochemicals, or refining industries.
- Strong expertise in integrated production planning, LP output translation, and refinery process configurations.
