About the Role
Alpha Bravo Integrated Services Limited is a premier provider of customized technical solutions for companies operating within the Maritime, Petrochemical, Energy, Oil, and Gas sectors. We are currently seeking a talented and driven Senior Piping Design Engineer to join our expanding engineering team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive piping layouts, stress analysis, and detailed engineering deliverables for various offshore and onshore facilities, ensuring compliance with international codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and plot plans for oil and gas facilities.
- Perform detailed piping design, routing, and stress analysis using industry-standard software such as PDMS, E3D, or CAESAR II.
- Ensure all engineering designs comply with relevant international codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Coordinate seamlessly with multidisciplinary engineering teams, project managers, and clients to resolve technical challenges.
- Review vendor drawings, technical documents, and material requisitions to ensure strict adherence to project requirements.
- Mentor junior and intermediate piping engineers, fostering professional growth and technical excellence within the department.
- Participate in design reviews, safety audits, HAZOP studies, and model reviews to mitigate operational risks.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in piping design within the Nigerian oil, gas, or petrochemical industry.
- Proficiency in advanced 3D design software including AVEVA PDMS, AVEVA E3D, and AutoCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of ASME, API, and other relevant international design codes and standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills with excellent communication abilities.
