About the Role
Heritage Energy Operational Services Limited (HEOSL), operator of the flagship OML 30 asset in the Niger Delta, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Pipeline Engineer (Project Contract) to join our growing engineering team. In this senior role, you will provide critical technical leadership and project oversight across all phases of onshore oil and gas engineering, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget while mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate the project team to provide comprehensive project management services from inception, conceptual design, FEED, and EPIC to commissioning and handover.
- Monitor project performance against agreed plans and budgets, utilizing Primavera P6 and Earned Value Analysis to identify cost variances and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and review robust project execution plans, risk management frameworks, quality assurance standards, and HSE interface documents.
- Participate in the preparation of tender packages, evaluate bids, negotiate contractor variations, and make strategic recommendations to tender committees.
- Interface seamlessly with multidisciplinary engineers, user departments, vendors, and external stakeholders to optimize resources and resolve technical bottlenecks.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in a relevant Engineering discipline from a recognized university; a Master's degree is an advantage.
- Minimum of 10 to 12 years of progressive, relevant experience in engineering, project management, and the execution of onshore oil and gas facilities.
- Expert proficiency in project management tools including Primavera P6, MS Project, and advanced data analysis software.
