About the Role

We are currently seeking a competent and driven Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial and cost aspects of our ambitious real estate and construction projects, ensuring they are delivered within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), budgets, and cost plans for ongoing and upcoming real estate projects.
- Conduct accurate measurements and quantify construction works, materials, and labor requirements.
- Monitor project expenditures, variations, and overall budget performance while identifying potential cost overruns and recommending savings.
- Prepare interim valuations, payment certificates, final accounts, and contractor payment assessments.
- Support the procurement and tendering process by reviewing tender documents and evaluating bids.
- Administer construction contracts, negotiate costs with suppliers, and manage commercial terms and variations.
- Conduct regular site visits to verify completed works and assess progress for accurate valuation.
- Liaise effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, project managers, and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or a closely related discipline.
- Professional membership or in-view status with the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS) is an advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience within real estate development, construction, or property development.
- Proven expertise in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, contract administration, and project valuation.
- Strong working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and current Nigerian market costs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and industry-standard cost management software.
