About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lubrication Technician / Oil Mechanic to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of various vehicles and mechanical equipment by performing routine oil changes, comprehensive lubrication, and essential preventive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Perform regular engine oil, transmission oil, coolant, and other vital fluid changes according to manufacturer standards.
- Lubricate moving mechanical components, bearings, and equipment as required to reduce friction and wear.
- Inspect fluid levels, identify potential leaks, and thoroughly check all lubrication points.
- Conduct basic vehicle servicing and proactive preventive maintenance procedures.
- Identify, document, and report mechanical faults or damages that require advanced repair work.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records while strictly adhering to workplace safety protocols.
- OND or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience working as an Oil Mechanic, Lubrication Technician, or in a similar automotive role.
- Strong working knowledge of vehicle and equipment oils, greases, lubricants, and basic mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in safely using standard workshop tools and diagnostic equipment.
