About the Role
Ekiti State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Ijero-Ekiti is a premier tertiary institution dedicated to producing qualified health professionals. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Physical Planning Officer to drive our infrastructural development, oversee physical planning projects, and ensure strict compliance with land use and regulatory standards within the campus.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee comprehensive physical development plans and ensure strict land use compliance across the institution.
- Prepare detailed technical reports on ongoing and proposed physical projects, including institutional buildings.
- Liaise effectively with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders on behalf of the institution regarding planning matters.
- Monitor project execution to guarantee adherence to quality, safety, and budgetary specifications.
- Advise college management on infrastructural development, maintenance, and spatial resource management.
- Possess a good Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or Building Technology.
- A Master's degree in a relevant discipline will be an added advantage.
- Must be a registered member of a recognized professional body such as NSE, COREN, ARCON, NIA, or NIQS.
- Minimum of six (6) years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably within a tertiary education environment.
- Demonstrated ability in project management, technical reporting, and regulatory liaison.
