About the Role
Prestigious Consulting Group, a leading global staffing agency in Lagos, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Pharmaceutical Project Manager. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead high-impact pharmaceutical manufacturing projects from initial concept through to successful commercialization. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, manufacturers, investors, and technical partners, to drive operational excellence, ensure strict GMP compliance, and expand our footprint in the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end pharmaceutical manufacturing projects from strategic planning to full commercialization.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, accurate timelines, detailed budgets, and robust execution strategies.
- Coordinate manufacturing scale-up, operational readiness, and identify strategic contract manufacturing opportunities.
- Lead comprehensive GMP gap assessments and execute effective remediation programmes.
- Coordinate NAFDAC registration processes, regulatory approvals, and support WHO GMP prequalification initiatives.
- Prepare detailed feasibility studies, compelling business cases, and essential investment support documentation.
- Manage critical relationships with regulators, manufacturers, consultants, suppliers, and investors.
- Ensure uncompromising adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and applicable industry regulations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Industrial Pharmacy, Technology, Biochemistry, or Industrial Chemistry.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, operations, regulatory affairs, or project management.
- Practical background working within a recognized pharmaceutical manufacturing consulting environment.
- Deep understanding of GMP, NAFDAC regulatory frameworks, and pharmaceutical product commercialization.
- Proven expertise in managing contract manufacturing partnerships and executing GMP remediation.
- Professional project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are a strong advantage.
