Key Responsibilities- Perform complex medical laboratory tests and procedures across various pathology disciplines with high precision and accuracy.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality control, biosafety standards, and regulatory protocols within the laboratory.
- Supervise, mentor, and train junior laboratory staff, interns, and students on best practices and advanced techniques.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot state-of-the-art laboratory equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with academic and medical research teams on clinical studies and institutional projects.
- Manage inventory, requisition supplies, and maintain accurate digital records of all laboratory diagnostics and patient results.
- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
- Current and valid practicing license with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- Successful completion of the mandatory one-year professional internship program.
- Proven working experience in a clinical or academic laboratory setting.
- Strong ICT literacy with proficiency in laboratory information systems and general office software.
