About the Role
The Institute of Directors Nigeria (IoD Nigeria) is a premier professional organization dedicated to promoting corporate governance, developing directors, and representing members to government and industry stakeholders. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Advocacy and Stakeholders Engagement to drive our institutional influence and thought leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive stakeholder engagement plans aligned with the Institute's strategic priorities and mandate.
- Build and sustain strategic relationships with government institutions, regulators, policymakers, industry leaders, and professional bodies.
- Coordinate advocacy initiatives, policy dialogues, roundtables, and high-level stakeholder meetings.
- Monitor regulatory developments and lead the drafting of policy briefs, position papers, and consultation submissions.
- Maintain an accurate stakeholder database and provide regular intelligence reports to executive leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Law, Management, or a related discipline.
- Compulsory Postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in public policy, stakeholder engagement, government relations, or corporate affairs, with at least 3 years in a senior managerial role.
- Active membership in relevant professional bodies such as CIoD, NBA, NIM, or ICSAN is a distinct advantage.
