Fountain University invites applications from suitably qualified and dynamic scholars for the position of Senior Lecturer in the Department of History & International Studies. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures and lead seminars for undergraduate and postgraduate students in History and International Studies.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, master's theses, and provide academic advising to students.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and university-wide committees.
- Contribute to community engagement initiatives and academic partnerships that elevate the profile of the university.
- Must hold a PhD in History, International Studies, or a closely related academic discipline.
- Possess a minimum of five (5) years of post-PhD academic teaching and research experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- Must have served as a Lecturer I for at least two (2) years prior to this application.
- Must have a strong publication record comprising a minimum of fourteen (14) credible academic publications.
