About the Role
Fountain University, owned by the Nasrul-Lahi-Il-Fatih Society of Nigeria (NASFAT), is a pace-setting institution committed to academic excellence, Islamic moral values, and service to humanity. We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified individual to fill the position of Lecturer I in the Department of Public Administration.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures and facilitate interactive learning for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Public Administration.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects and dissertations.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic committee assignments.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students, fostering both intellectual growth and strong ethical values.
- Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives on behalf of the university.
- Must hold a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Public Administration or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Must have served as a Lecturer II for at least 2 years.
- Evidence of a minimum of 7 scholarly publications in recognized academic journals.
