About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified individual to fill the position of Lecturer I in the Department of Public Administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures and facilitate interactive learning for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Public Administration.
  • Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed academic journals.
  • Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects and dissertations.
  • Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic committee assignments.
  • Provide academic advising and mentorship to students, fostering both intellectual growth and strong ethical values.
  • Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives on behalf of the university.
Qualifications
  • Must hold a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Public Administration or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
  • Must have served as a Lecturer II for at least 2 years.
  • Evidence of a minimum of 7 scholarly publications in recognized academic journals.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high academic standards and moral values aligned with the university's ethos.
