Fountain University invites applications from suitably qualified and dynamic academic professionals for the position of Senior Lecturer in the Department of Environmental & Health Science. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures and lead practical laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Environmental and Health Science.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, master's theses, and provide holistic mentorship to students.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and secure research grants.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and university committee assignments.
- Engage in community service initiatives and professional outreach relevant to environmental and public health sectors.
- Must hold a Doctorate (PhD) degree in Environmental Science, Public Health, or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of five (5) years of post-PhD teaching and research experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- Must have served as a Lecturer I for at least two (2) years prior to this application.
- A strong publication record comprising a minimum of fourteen (14) peer-reviewed journal articles.
- Demonstrated ability to attract research funding and collaborate across multidisciplinary academic teams.
