About the Role
Fountain University, owned by the Nasrul-Lahi-Il-Fatih Society of Nigeria (NASFAT), is seeking a qualified and passionate academic professional to fill the position of Lecturer I in Nursing Science. Since our inception in 2008, we have remained committed to the total development of students through high academic standards, ethical values, and service to humanity.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical training in Nursing Science to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, clinical rotations, and academic dissertations.
- Conduct high-quality, impactful academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university committee assignments.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students.
- Contribute to community engagement initiatives and healthcare outreach programs organized by the university.
- Must possess a PhD in Nursing Science or a closely related field from a recognized and accredited university.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Must have served as a Lecturer II for at least 2 consecutive years.
- Evidence of a minimum of 7 scholarly publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Current practicing license with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
