Federal University Lafia invites dynamic and experienced academics to apply for the position of Senior Lecturer in Urban and Regional Planning within our esteemed Faculty of Environmental Design. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Urban and Regional Planning.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and university committee assignments.
- Mentor junior academic staff and contribute to community development initiatives related to environmental design and planning.
- Must hold a Ph.D. degree in Urban and Regional Planning or a closely related field from a recognized and accredited institution.
- A minimum of six (6) years of post-qualification teaching and research experience in a university or comparable institution.
- Must possess a minimum of ten (10) publications in reputable peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Demonstrated evidence of continuous research productivity and the capacity to successfully supervise postgraduate students.
