Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions in Pharmacology and Toxicology to undergraduate students.
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and curriculum content in alignment with national and institutional academic standards.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, research assignments, and academic progress.
- Participate in the continuous assessment, grading, and evaluation of student performance, including examinations and continuous assessments.
- Engage in impactful academic research, publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to departmental research goals.
- Attend and contribute to departmental, faculty, and university-wide meetings, committees, and academic functions.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students to support their personal and professional development.
- Possession of a good Second Class Honours Bachelor degree in Pharmacology, Toxicology, or a relevant biomedical field from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Must possess a Master degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated potential for academic research and a commitment to continuous professional development in higher education.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills suited for academic environments.
- Membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage.
