Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical training in Preventive Dentistry to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and clinical practices.
- Conduct high-impact research in preventive dentistry and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic committee meetings.
- Provide clinical services and oral health advocacy within the university teaching hospital and the wider community.
- Mentor junior academic staff and contribute to faculty development initiatives.
- Possession of a PhD in Preventive Dentistry or a closely related field.
- A minimum of five (5) years of active teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- At least 8 quality peer-reviewed publications in recognized academic journals.
- First degree in Dentistry (BDS/BChD or equivalent) not below a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division with a PhD.
- Current registration and valid practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
