About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and accomplished Senior Lecturer in Anatomic and Forensic Pathology to join the School of Basic Clinical Sciences. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the next generation of medical professionals while contributing to cutting-edge research in pathology within a vibrant academic community.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students in Anatomic and Forensic Pathology.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and clinical rotations.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable local and international academic journals.
- Contribute to departmental curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic quality assurance.
- Participate in community engagement initiatives, medical outreach, and professional pathology consultancy services.
- Possession of a First Degree with not below a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division combined with a PhD.
- A terminal degree (PhD) in Pathology or a closely related medical discipline.
- Minimum of five (5) years of active teaching and research experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- A strong publication record with a minimum of eight (8) peer-reviewed journal articles in reputable academic outlets.
- Demonstrated expertise in Anatomic and Forensic Pathology with valid professional medical registrations where applicable.
