About the Role
Federal University Lafia, a vibrant and rapidly growing institution established in 2011, is dedicated to expanding access to high-quality education and research in Nigeria. Located in the heart of Nasarawa State, the university invites dynamic academic professionals to contribute to its expanding Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science as a Senior Lecturer in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects and postgraduate student theses.
- Conduct high-impact, continuous research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and faculty meetings.
- Mentor junior academic staff and contribute to community development initiatives.
- Possession of a Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, or a closely related relevant field from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of six (6) years of post-qualification teaching and research experience in a university setting.
- Evidence of a minimum of ten (10) scholarly publications in reputable local and international journals.
- Demonstrated capability to supervise postgraduate students and attract research grants.
