Federal University Lafia invites dynamic and qualified academics to join our prestigious Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science as a Senior Lecturer in Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects and theses.
- Conduct high-quality, impactful research and publish findings in reputable, peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Contribute to curriculum development and enhancement within the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative duties as assigned.
- Engage in community service and professional outreach initiatives representing the university.
- Possess a Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry or a closely related relevant field from a recognized and accredited institution.
- A minimum of six (6) years of post-qualification teaching and research experience in a university or comparable tertiary institution.
- A strong publication record with a minimum of ten (10) articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Demonstrated evidence of ongoing, continuous research activities and a proven ability to successfully supervise postgraduate students.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills suited for an academic environment.
