As a Senior Lecturer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the minds of undergraduate and postgraduate students while contributing to the growth of our academic community.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures and coursework in Glass and Silicate Technology and related disciplines to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise postgraduate student research, theses, and dissertations with a commitment to academic rigor.
- Conduct continuous, high-impact research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and faculty meetings.
- Mentor junior academic staff and contribute to community development initiatives.
- Must hold a Ph.D. degree in Glass and Silicate Technology or a closely relevant field from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of six (6) years of post-qualification teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Must possess a minimum of ten (10) publications in reputable national and international journals.
- Proven evidence of continuous research output and the ability to effectively supervise postgraduate students.
