Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical clinical training in Paedodontics to undergraduate and postgraduate dental students.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, master's theses, and doctoral dissertations.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research in pediatric dentistry and contribute to the academic reputation of the university.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university committee assignments.
- Provide specialized clinical dental care and supervision of patients at the university teaching hospital.
- Mentor junior academic staff and participate in community outreach dental programs.
- Possession of a PhD in Paedodontics or a closely related dental science discipline.
- Minimum of five (5) years of active teaching and research experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- Must possess a First Degree in Dentistry not below a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division with a PhD.
- A strong publication record with a minimum of 8 peer-reviewed articles in reputable national and international journals.
- Valid registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) with current practicing license.
- Demonstrated ability in academic leadership, grant writing, and clinical student mentorship.
