We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Senior Lecturer in Nursing Administration to join our esteemed Department of Nursing Science and contribute to our transformative educational mission.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in Nursing Administration to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop, review, and update curriculum content in line with current global healthcare standards and Nigerian regulatory requirements.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and secure research grants.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and clinical placements.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students to foster their holistic personal and professional development.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, administrative duties, and community engagement initiatives.
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or equivalent terminal degree in Nursing Science, with a recognized specialization in Nursing Administration or a closely related field.
- Current practicing license and active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Demonstrated record of extensive academic teaching experience at the tertiary level, preferably at a senior lecturer rank.
- Robust portfolio of scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals and active involvement in academic research.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic environment.
