We are currently expanding our esteemed Faculty of Nursing Science in Benin City, Edo State, and seeking a passionate, qualified academic leader to join our department. As a Senior Lecturer in Maternal and Child Health Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals by delivering rigorous instruction, conducting impactful research, and fostering an environment of academic integrity and moral development.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Maternal and Child Health Nursing.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects and mentor postgraduate students toward academic success.
- Conduct cutting-edge research and maintain an active publication record in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Contribute to curriculum development, department administration, and academic leadership initiatives within the Faculty of Nursing Science.
- Participate in community service, departmental committees, and institutional advancement programs aligned with the university's Christian ethics.
- Possession of a PhD in Maternal and Child Health Nursing or a closely relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of five (5) years of cognate university teaching, research, and administrative experience.
- A robust portfolio of peer-reviewed publications and demonstrated evidence of academic leadership.
- Current professional registration and a valid practicing licence with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Proficiency in ICT-driven educational tools and strong interpersonal, communication, and mentorship skills.
