Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional academic leadership in the College of Medicine and Surgery by delivering engaging lectures and facilitating practical training.
- Design, update, and implement innovative medical curricula that align with national and international standards.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate medical research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Publish high-impact, peer-reviewed articles in reputable national and international medical journals.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, accreditation exercises, and community engagement initiatives.
- Mentor junior academic staff and medical students while upholding the Christian ethics and core values of the university.
- Must possess a PhD or equivalent terminal medical fellowship qualification in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of cognate university teaching, research, and administrative experience.
- A robust portfolio of peer-reviewed publications in reputable academic and medical journals.
- Demonstrated capacity for postgraduate teaching, mentorship, and research supervision.
- Current professional registration with the relevant medical council and a valid, up-to-date practising licence.
- Proficiency in ICT-driven teaching methodologies with excellent communication, research, and interpersonal skills.
