Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Information Technology and related computing disciplines.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate student research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable local and international journals.
- Contribute actively to curriculum development, academic quality assurance, and departmental administration.
- Provide academic leadership, mentorship, and career guidance to students and junior academic staff.
- Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives on behalf of the university.
- Possess a PhD in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related relevant discipline.
- Demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years of cognate university teaching, research, and academic experience.
- Maintain a strong, verifiable record of peer-reviewed academic publications in reputable journals.
- Show proven capacity for postgraduate teaching, student supervision, and academic leadership.
- Possess excellent ICT proficiency, strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Hold current professional registration and valid practising licences where applicable.
