We are currently seeking a dynamic and accomplished Associate Professor of Computer Science to join our vibrant Faculty of Computing in Benin City, Edo State. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Computer Science and related computing disciplines.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Conduct cutting-edge, peer-reviewed research and actively publish in reputable national and international academic journals.
- Provide visionary academic leadership within the Faculty of Computing and mentor junior faculty members.
- Contribute to curriculum development, course evaluation, and departmental accreditation processes.
- Participate in community service, university committees, and institutional advancement initiatives.
- Must possess a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related computing discipline from a recognized university.
- A minimum of eight (8) years of cognate university teaching, research, and administrative experience.
- A robust portfolio of peer-reviewed publications in reputable academic journals.
- Demonstrated capacity for effective postgraduate supervision and evidence of strong academic leadership.
- Proficiency in ICT-driven teaching methods with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
