Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures and practical sessions in Human Physiology to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
- Supervise postgraduate student research theses and provide comprehensive academic mentorship.
- Conduct cutting-edge research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Contribute actively to curriculum development, department meetings, and academic committee service within the College of Medicine.
- Demonstrate academic leadership by mentoring junior faculty members and collaborating on interdisciplinary research initiatives.
- Possess a PhD in Human Physiology or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Minimum of five (5) years of cognate university teaching, research, and administrative experience.
- A robust and verifiable portfolio of peer-reviewed publications in reputable local and international journals.
- Proven capacity for postgraduate teaching, student supervision, and demonstrated academic leadership.
- Current professional registration and a valid practising licence where applicable.
