Okpere Memorial School is a reputable private educational institution located in Uromi, Edo State, currently undergoing an exciting top-to-bottom transformation under visionary new management. We are modernising our campus infrastructure, integrating cutting-edge teaching technologies, and revamping our learning environment to provide a world-class educational experience. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated School Principal to lead this revival, provide robust academic leadership, and oversee our day-to-day school administration.
Key Responsibilities- Provide effective academic, administrative, and strategic leadership for the school.
- Supervise, coordinate, and evaluate the performance of teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Monitor lesson delivery, schemes of work, and students' examination preparation.
- Establish and maintain high standards of teaching, learning, discipline, and student conduct.
- Ensure effective implementation of the approved school curriculum and modern digital teaching tools.
- Maintain effective communication with parents, guardians, staff, and educational authorities.
- Provide regular operations and performance reports to school management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed) or B.Sc/B.A with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE); a Master's degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in school leadership, administration, or as a Vice-Principal/Principal.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, organisational, and people-management skills.
