About the Role
Wellspring University, a prestigious institution founded on Christian ethics and principles, is seeking a dedicated and qualified Senior Lecturer in Health Information Management to join our esteemed Faculty of Science and Allied Health Sciences in Benin City, Edo State. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Health Information Management and related disciplines.
- Supervise postgraduate student research theses and dissertations at various levels.
- Conduct high-level academic research and publish findings in reputable, peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Provide visionary academic leadership, mentor junior faculty members, and contribute to curriculum development.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, community service, and institutional accreditation processes.
- Must possess a PhD in Health Information Management or a directly relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Minimum of five (5) years of cognate university teaching, research, and administrative experience.
- Demonstrated strong record of high-impact, peer-reviewed academic publications.
- Proven capability in postgraduate teaching, student supervision, and academic leadership.
- Must possess current professional registration and a valid practising licence where applicable, alongside strong ICT proficiency and excellent interpersonal skills.
