We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Lecturer in Geophysical Science Laboratory Technology to contribute to our vibrant academic community, mentor the next generation of scientists, and advance cutting-edge research.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Geophysical Science Laboratory Technology.
- Supervise student research projects, practical laboratory sessions, and field training.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in departmental curriculum development and academic administration.
- Contribute to community service and institutional advancement initiatives.
- Must possess a PhD in Geophysical Science Laboratory Technology or a closely related discipline.
- Must possess a First Degree with a minimum of Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division with a PhD.
- A minimum of five (5) years of active tertiary teaching and research experience.
- At least 8 quality peer-reviewed publications in recognized academic journals.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor students and secure research grants is an added advantage.
