We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Lecturer to join our Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Electrical and Electronic Engineering courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Design, update, and review curriculum content to align with current industry standards and global academic best practices.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate student research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Conduct impactful research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and actively seek grants for institutional development.
- Participate in departmental and university-wide committees, accreditation exercises, and community engagement initiatives.
- Mentor and advise students on academic performance, career progression, and personal development.
- Possess a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrate a strong academic record with substantial relevant teaching experience at the university level, preferably at the rank of Lecturer I or Senior Lecturer.
- Show a robust portfolio of peer-reviewed research publications in reputable local and international academic journals.
- Possess active membership or registration with relevant professional engineering bodies such as COREN and NSE.
