Wellspring University is seeking a dedicated and academically distinguished Senior Lecturer in Economics to join our esteemed Faculty of Social and Management Sciences in Benin City, Edo State. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Economics using modern teaching methodologies and technology.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and actively contribute to the academic profile of the department and university.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic committee assignments.
- Mentor students academically, professionally, and morally in alignment with the institutional core values.
- Engage in community service and academic leadership initiatives within and outside the university.
- Must possess a PhD in Economics or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Minimum of five (5) years of cognate university teaching, research, and administrative experience.
- A strong, verifiable record of publications in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Proven capacity and experience in postgraduate teaching, student supervision, and academic leadership.
- Demonstrated proficiency in ICT-enabled teaching and learning platforms.
