About the Role

We are currently inviting applications from suitably qualified, dynamic, and dedicated academic professionals for the position of Senior Lecturer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology within the Faculty of Clinical Sciences.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, practical sessions, and clinical training to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
- Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and clinical rotations.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide comprehensive academic mentorship and career guidance to students.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative duties.
- Engage in clinical practice and community service initiatives associated with the university's healthcare mandate.
- Possession of an MBBS or BDS as a first degree from a recognized institution.
- Relevant postgraduate medical fellowship or qualification appropriate to the rank of a Senior Lecturer.
- Demonstrated teaching, research, clinical, and scholarly experience commensurate with the position.
- Strong portfolio of academic publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Current registration with the relevant professional regulatory body and a valid practising licence.
- Proven capacity for effective teaching, academic mentorship, and institutional service.
- All academic and professional qualifications must be verifiable and from recognized institutions.
