The primary work location for this position is our modern Medical Campus situated at Rivers Park Estate, Airport Road, Lugbe District, Abuja, though academic duties may occasionally extend across our institutional network. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in Anatomy to undergraduate medical and health science students.
- Develop, update, and review curricula and course materials in line with National Universities Commission (NUC) standards and global best practices.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and academic theses.
- Conduct impactful, peer-reviewed research and actively contribute to the academic reputation of the university through scholarly publications.
- Provide comprehensive academic advising, career guidance, and mentorship to students to foster holistic professional development.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, administrative duties, and community service initiatives.
- Maintain active registration and good standing with relevant professional regulatory bodies and licensing authorities.
- Must possess an MBBS or BDS degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Must hold a relevant postgraduate qualification appropriate for appointment to the rank of Senior Lecturer.
- Demonstrated teaching, research, clinical, and scholarly experience commensurate with the Senior Lecturer rank.
- Strong track record of verifiable academic publications in reputable peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Valid registration and current practicing license with the relevant professional regulatory body in Nigeria.
- Proven capacity for effective teaching, student mentorship, administrative service, and collaborative academic research.
