Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in Anatomy to undergraduate medical and health science students.
  • Develop, update, and review curricula and course materials in line with National Universities Commission (NUC) standards and global best practices.
  • Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and academic theses.
  • Conduct impactful, peer-reviewed research and actively contribute to the academic reputation of the university through scholarly publications.
  • Provide comprehensive academic advising, career guidance, and mentorship to students to foster holistic professional development.
  • Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, administrative duties, and community service initiatives.
  • Maintain active registration and good standing with relevant professional regulatory bodies and licensing authorities.

Qualifications
  • Must possess an MBBS or BDS degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
  • Must hold a relevant postgraduate qualification appropriate for appointment to the rank of Senior Lecturer.
  • Demonstrated teaching, research, clinical, and scholarly experience commensurate with the Senior Lecturer rank.
  • Strong track record of verifiable academic publications in reputable peer-reviewed national and international journals.
  • Valid registration and current practicing license with the relevant professional regulatory body in Nigeria.
  • Proven capacity for effective teaching, student mentorship, administrative service, and collaborative academic research.
