Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Clinical Microbiology.
- Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and clinical rotations.
- Conduct cutting-edge research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate actively in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and academic administration.
- Provide mentorship, academic counseling, and career guidance to medical students.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals at affiliated teaching hospitals to bridge academic theory and clinical practice.
- Possession of an MBBS or BDS degree from a recognized institution.
- A relevant postgraduate qualification (such as FMCPath, FWACP, or equivalent) appropriate for a Senior Lecturer rank.
- Demonstrated teaching, research, clinical, and scholarly experience commensurate with the position.
- Strong track record of academic publications in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Current registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) alongside a valid practicing license.
