About the Role
Eritoy International Schools, a reputable Christian institution founded in 2002, is seeking a passionate and qualified ICT / Technical Drawing / Basic Technology Teacher. Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in ICT, Technical Drawing, and Basic Technology in line with the school curriculum.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, practical activities, and assessments.
- Teach students digital literacy, basic computer operations, internet safety, and software applications.
- Instruct pupils on the fundamental principles of technology, tools, materials, and safe workshop practices.
- Deliver Technical Drawing concepts including basic geometry, lettering, dimensioning, and reading simple technical plans.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, maintaining accurate records of academic and practical performance.
- Ensure the safe and proper use of ICT equipment, tools, and drawing resources during practical sessions.
- Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, training sessions, and extracurricular activities.
- Minimum of a NCE, B.Ed, B.Sc, or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Strong knowledge and practical understanding of ICT, Basic Technology, and Technical Drawing.
- Proven experience in classroom management and activity-based teaching methods.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Alignment with the Christian values and godly principles of Eritoy Schools.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for computer hardware and software is an added advantage.
