Based at our modern Medical Campus in Abuja or Main Campus in Delta State, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering top-tier medical education, conducting groundbreaking research, and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate medical students in a dynamic academic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical training in Anaesthesia to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
- Conduct high-quality research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Provide comprehensive academic mentorship and career guidance to students.
- Participate actively in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and faculty committees.
- Engage in clinical duties and community service initiatives associated with the university's teaching hospital network.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance medical education and institutional goals.
- Possess an MBBS or BDS as a first degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Hold a relevant postgraduate fellowship or qualification appropriate for a Senior Lecturer.
- Demonstrate substantial teaching, research, clinical, and scholarly experience commensurate with the rank.
- Provide verifiable evidence of academic publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Hold current registration with the relevant professional regulatory body alongside a valid practising licence.
