Key Responsibilities- Provide strong academic and professional leadership in the Department of Public Health.
- Initiate, lead, and supervise groundbreaking research projects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Teach, mentor, and assess students enrolled in public health and related degree programs.
- Contribute significantly to curriculum development and quality assurance processes within the faculty.
- Engage in continuous peer-reviewed scholarly publishing in reputable national and international outlets.
- Collaborate with industry stakeholders, professional bodies, and healthcare institutions to enhance community impact.
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in Public Health or a closely related relevant field.
- Possess a minimum of twelve (12) years of cumulative full-time teaching and research experience in a university setting.
- Demonstrate a robust portfolio of significant peer-reviewed scholarly publications in reputable national and international journals.
- Maintain active membership in relevant professional bodies.
- Possess proven proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) with demonstrable competence in digital learning tools.
- Exemplify the ability to provide visionary academic leadership and foster collaborative research environments.
The appointment commences in the 2026/2027 academic session on a two-year probationary basis, with potential confirmation to the retiring age based on performance.
Salary and fringe benefits are structured in accordance with the Federal Universities' salary scale (KDUTSS 07) and the approved Conditions of Service of KolaDaisi University, Ibadan.
