We are currently seeking a dynamic and accomplished Senior Lecturer to drive academic excellence within our Faculty of Computing.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Data Science and related computing disciplines.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, including theses and dissertations.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and contribute to the academic profile of the university through publications.
- Provide robust academic leadership, curriculum development, and mentorship to junior faculty members and students.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees and administrative duties.
- Engage in community service and industry partnerships that enhance the institution's visibility and practical impact.
- Must possess a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Data Science or a directly relevant computing discipline.
- A minimum of five (5) years of cognate university teaching, research, and administrative experience.
- A strong and verifiable portfolio of peer-reviewed publications in reputable academic journals.
- Proven capacity for postgraduate teaching, supervision, and demonstrated academic leadership.
- Exceptional ICT proficiency, coupled with strong interpersonal, communication, and teaching skills.
- Current professional registration and valid practicing licenses where applicable.
