As we expand our academic footprint, we are looking for a passionate and qualified Lecturer I to join our esteemed Faculty of Nursing Science within the Department of Maternal and Child Health Nursing.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures and practical sessions in Maternal and Child Health Nursing to undergraduate students.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, clinical postings, and academic progress.
- Conduct impactful research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and actively contribute to the academic reputation of the university.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university committee assignments.
- Mentor students and provide guidance rooted in academic excellence and moral integrity.
- Must possess a PhD in Maternal and Child Health Nursing or a closely related relevant discipline.
- A minimum of three (3) years of cognate university teaching and research experience.
- Demonstrated evidence of continuing research and relevant academic publications in reputable journals.
- Current professional registration and a valid practicing licence with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Strong ICT proficiency, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and a proven ability to teach and mentor effectively.
