As an Associate Professor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our academic programs, driving cutting-edge research, and mentoring the next generation of data science professionals in a world-class learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Data Science and related computing disciplines.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and publish in reputable national and international journals.
- Provide robust academic leadership and participate in curriculum development and departmental administration.
- Engage in community service, institutional development, and academic mentorship.
- Must possess a PhD Degree in Data Science or a closely related computing discipline from a recognized institution.
- At least eight (8) years of cognate university teaching and research experience.
- A strong, demonstrable record of peer-reviewed publications in reputable academic journals.
- Proven capacity for postgraduate teaching, student supervision, and academic leadership.
- Demonstrated ICT proficiency with strong teaching, research, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Current professional registration and valid practising licence where applicable.
