Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Computer Science courses in line with modern pedagogical standards.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Conduct high-quality, impactful research and publish findings in reputable, peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide academic leadership through curriculum development, mentoring junior faculty, and participating in departmental and faculty committees.
- Contribute to community service and institutional advancement initiatives in alignment with the university’s core values.
- Maintain accurate academic records and provide regular progress reports to the Head of Department.
- Must possess a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Minimum of five (5) years of cognate university teaching, lecturing, and research experience.
- Demonstrated strong record of peer-reviewed academic publications in reputable journals.
- Proven capacity for effective postgraduate teaching and student research supervision.
- Evident track record of academic leadership, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for modern digital learning and administration.
- Current professional registration and valid practicing licenses where applicable to the computing profession.
